We’re people just like you.

We live here, we work here, and we do business here. We are a source of vision, energy, optimism, and ideas, and we channel our efforts toward getting things done. We help Richmond reach its potential and stake its claim as the Historic Heart of Fort Bend County.

A stronger Richmond is one where its natural amenities and assets are invested in and improved upon for the benefit of our entire community, including both the citizen and City Hall. We give ourselves permission to imagine what Richmond could be, we learn what it takes to get there, and we have the courage to achieve it.

Fortify Richmond establishes a shared vision for what Richmond can become, and is not afraid to dream bigger than anyone who has come before us.

Fortify Richmond takes an honest look at where we are today, casts a vision for the future, and does the hard work of turning those dreams into actionable plans.

A successful city’s best ideas do not live on the pages of a master plan, they are made manifest in the environment through bold action.

Fortify Richmond holds ourselves and leaders accountable to a higher standard for the sake of a larger mission: converting vision and plans into achievable projects that improve life in our community in tangible ways.

Rooted in Strong Towns principles, Fortify Richmond is a grass-roots, community organization that establishes a collaborative and shared vision for the future of our City.

We turn that vision into achievable plans and take bold action to manifest them in the environment. This intentional process produces tangible results for our community, i.e. both citizens and City Hall, resulting in an overall, stronger Richmond.
